Bob Levine started his refrigeration career in 1971 with Ackerman New York. In the mid 1970's he formed his own commercial refrigeration company filling a niche working on freezers for the ice cream trades throughout the five boroughs. Eventually, the company took the current name Americold Refrigeration and Bob turned his focus towards New York City restaurants. Americold gained a reputation in NYC as a professional refrigeration company under the direction and efforts of Bob. Americold gained the trust and loyalty of some of the toughest restaurateurs like Reise Management, Bobby Flay and Mario Batali, to mention a few.
Technicold Refrigeration Consultants was formed in 2006. Technicold offers the same high quality of refrigeration service to Suffolk and Nassau customers. Arthur Rode became a partner in Technicold in June of 2007.
Arthur Rode comes from a strong business background with larger corporations. From 1995- 2003 Mr. Rode worked at Inter-County Bakers, a large regionally based food service distribution facility, becoming part of their senior management team as Director of Operations. In 2004, Mr. Rode accepted a position as Vice President of Hoshizaki Northeastern, a leading ice machine manufacturer. He remained with the company until accepting a position with Americold in April of 2007. Mr. Rode is a graduate of Hofstra University.
This diverse combination of talents is the backbone of this dynamic management team that is Ameritec NY, The Refrigeration Consultants.
